End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and CodeBombay ("we," "us"), the publisher of DodoDeck, and governs your use of the DodoDeck desktop application ("the App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to this Agreement.

1. License grant

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use.

• 14-day trial: the full-feature trial lasts 14 days. After it ends, the App becomes read-only; your cards, notes, and archive remain available until you activate a license.
• Paid version: a $5 one-time purchase unlocks editing on up to three of your own devices. Dodo Payments handles checkout and emails your license key. Your key is tied to your purchase and should not be shared publicly or resold. Activation requires an internet connection; day-to-day use of cards and notes works offline.

2. What you may not do

You may not: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by law; redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the App or your license key; remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or license notices; or use the App to build a competing product.

3. Ownership

The App, including its source code, design, and branding, is and remains our property. This Agreement gives you a license to use the App — it does not transfer any ownership of it to you.

4. Your data

The App stores your notes locally on your device. We do not have access to your notes and are not responsible for backing them up — see the Privacy Policy for details on what data the App does and does not send anywhere.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

7. Refunds

DodoDeck license purchases are final. We do not offer voluntary refunds, except where required by applicable law. For billing errors or questions, contact support@dododeck.app. See our Refund Policy.

8. Updates and changes

We may release updates to the App. We may also modify this Agreement; continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

9. Termination

We may terminate this license if you violate this Agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete your copy of it.
